the benefits of distilled water

THE PUREST WATER

This will change your life. This Water Distiller turns tap water into pure water.  Gets rid of everything bad. It does this by turning the water into steam.  The steam goes through a cooling chamber and drips into the seperate container.

It helps you have more energy and think clearer.

Water is life.

KILLS ALL GERMS

A water distiller kills germs by heating contaminated water to a boil, which turns the water into steam while leaving behind most bacteria, viruses, and other impurities. The steam then rises, is collected in a separate chamber, and is cooled until it condenses back into liquid water, which is pure

GETS RID OF ALL THE CHEMICALS

Tap water can contain a variety of chemicals, including intentional additives like chlorine and fluoride, which are used for disinfection and dental health. It can also contain contaminants like lead, mercury, arsenic, and copper from pipes and natural deposits, as well as disinfection byproducts and pharmaceuticals, and agricultural chemicals like pesticides and herbicides.

GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Every single litre of water that is distilled that is then put back into the ecosystem with no contamenants. Just pure water. This is good for everything.

NO MORE PLASTIC BOTTLES

When you have a water distiller in your house you can have four litres of pure water every four hours. With some simple organisation and steel water bottles you would never need to buy plastic bottles again. In Mexico the streets are littered with these bottles. If everyone had a distiller this problem would go away while helping to clean up the water and the environment.

REMOVE PFAS (FOREVER CHEMICALS)

A properly functioning water distiller can effectively remove most PFAS, with some systems removing over 99%99 %99% of long-chain PFAS, as PFAS have a higher boiling point than water and are left behind during the distillation process. However, some shorter-chain or volatile PFAS can carry over with steam, so a distillation unit that includes a post-filter, especially an activated carbon filter, is recommended for maximum effectiveness.

  • Boiling and condensation: Distillation works by boiling water to create steam, which is then cooled and condensed into purified water.
  • Contaminant separation: Since PFAS have a much higher boiling point than water, they are left behind in the boiling chamber while the steam—and the purified water it becomes—is free of them.
  • Post-treatment: A post-filter, like an activated carbon filter, is beneficial to catch any remaining volatile short-chain PFAS that might have evaporated with the steam.

GOOD FOR YOU

After using nothing but distilled water for the last three years I can say honestly that I have never felt better. I feel more energetic and clear headed. I feel better at fifty two than I did at twenty two. The only main change I did to my routine in those years was the change in water. The diet, the exercise, the environment are all the same.

SIDE EFFECTS OF FLOURIDE

Dental fluorosis, skeletal weakness (Skeletal fluorosis)

Acute toxicity with symptoms including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.

Thyroid function - high fluoride intake is considered a potential endocrine disruptor and may affect thyroid function, especially when combined with inadequate iodine intake.

Kidney damage: Excessive fluoride intake may impair kidney and liver function. The kidneys are responsible for excreting fluoride, so people with chronic kidney disease are at a heightened risk for fluoride toxicity.

Acne (fluoroderma) - In some cases, high fluoride intake has been linked to acne and painful sores.

Neurological effects - several studies suggest a link between high fluoride exposure and negative neurological outcomes - lower IQ in children, developmental concerns.

SIDE EFFECTS OF CHLORINE

Side effects of chlorine in drinking water can include irritation to the eyes, skin, and throat, a strong taste or smell, and gastrointestinal issues like nausea and vomiting.

Some studies suggest potential long-term health concerns, such as an increased risk of bladder and rectal cancer from disinfection by-products, and associations with asthma and food allergies.

Short-term effects

  • Irritation: Red, irritated eyes, and a sore or dry throat.
  • Gastrointestinal distress: Nausea, vomiting, or stomach discomfort.
  • Skin irritation: Dry skin and red skin.
  • Taste and smell: An off-putting taste or odor, which can lead to drinking less water.

Potential long-term effects

  • Respiratory issues: Some studies link prolonged exposure to exacerbated asthma symptoms.
  • Cancer risk: Research suggests a possible link between consumption of chlorinated water and its by-products (like THMs) and an increased risk of bladder and colon cancer.
  • Allergies: Some studies have found a link between dichlorophenols and increased instances of food allergies.
  • Reproductive and developmental concerns: Some research has suggested a possible link to adverse reproductive effects, such as congenital abnormalities.

DISTILLING SALT WATER TO PURE

Distilling saltwater makes it drinkable because the process separates water vapor from dissolved salts, leaving the pure, condensed water safe to drink. Distillation involves boiling the saltwater to create steam and then condensing that steam back into liquid freshwater. The distillation process

  • Boiling: Heat is applied to the saltwater, causing the water to turn into vapor or steam. The salt and other impurities are too heavy to evaporate and are left behind.
  • Condensing: The steam is then moved to a cooler area, where it turns back into liquid water.
  • Collection: This condensed water is pure and has had the salt removed, making it safe to drink.

LOW COST AND MAINTENANCE

After using a distiller for over three years the benefit financially is great. I spend zero on pure water every day. The $350 is paid back in a third of a year, and I never have to buy bottled water again. Also since the device is similar in creation to a kettle there have been no issue in regard to needing any kind of maintenance.
